MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF OUTWOOD PARISH COUNCIL HELD ON 5th JULY 2023 IN THE CHURCH ROOM, WASP GREEN LANE, OUTWOOD

PUBLIC QUESTIONS

Concern was raised over the appearance of a vehicle restoration business at the site of Ryall & Edwards in Green Lane, RH1 5QP.  The Clerk to make enquiries on permissions.

07/0667                      TO DISCUSS PROS AND CONS OF DOING A NEIGHBOURHOOD PLAN

It was AGREED to look into potential grants and to seek advice from Burstow Parish Council Clerk.

07/0668                      OPC STALL AT VILLAGE SHOW

All Councillors agreed to help in any way they can on the OPC Stall.

07/0669                      AVIATION AND TRANSPORT

SCC Highways Focus Group – this was considered, and it was AGREED that there was no benefit to OPC joining the Group.

07/0670      COMMUNITY MATTERS

    1. Update on the Castle Pub – It was NOTED that the pub had re-opened and was moving forward with its plans.
    2. BHF Bike Ride – It was AGREED that Cllr. Malley would draft a letter to be sent to the organisers.
    3. Risk assessments for Trim Trail Walk and Volunteering Afternooon – This will be completed, and all councillors notified by email.
